When Spaceship One and it's carrier plane, White Knight, flew today, it was its final flight ever. From here, it flies to Washington DC to hang in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. In Burt Rutan's own words, "It will be high up, looking down on the Apollo capsules below..." Today was the last day of the Oshkosh airshow. Between my camera and my dad's, we took nearly 1,000 photos of airplanes and smoke trails. I wont show you all of them, but here are some of the neater ones to see:
